Prairie State Canoeists Records
Series I, Organization Records, consists the original Articles of Incorporation, by-laws and resolutions, and meeting minutes from 1988 to present. The meeting minutes before 1988 have been lost. Series II, Trip Reports, date from 1975 to 1998 and contain the reports written by the leader of each trips and a lists of participants. The Addendum to the collection contains newsletters dating from 1971 to the present.
DeKalb Area Garden Club Records
Metcalf Family Records (Riley Township, McHenry County)
The Metcalf Family records date from 1832 to 1916 and include three cashbooks and forty-three volumes of weather diaries kept by John W. James. Two of the cashbooks were kept by Ralph Metcalf. The weather diaries, while not a complete run, are of interest to researchers doing research in crop cycles, climatological history, and daily life.
DeKalb Area Women's Center
The records for the DeKalb Area Women’s Center include membership, history and activity information. The collection includes newsletters which offer general information about the center and its activities. Also included are programs and flyers promoting the Center’s various conferences and activities. Additionally, the collection also contains information regarding the Center’s permanent art collection and its artists.
DeKalb-Pond-Fisk Neighborhood Redevelopment Project Records
The DeKalb-Pond-Fisk Neighborhood Redevelopment Project records document the redevelopment of a deteriorated neighborhood through the cooperative efforts of the City Council, City staff, and the DeKalb/Pond/Fisk Block Group. The records are arranged chronologically and include proposals, maps, correspondence, memorandums, press releases, and histories of the development project.

DeKalb Landmarks Commission Records
The records for the DeKalb Landmarks Commission document the history of the Commission from its inception in 1978 and consists of meeting minutes and project information and reports. Examples of survey reports included in the collection are the Evergreen Cemetery Project, the Huntley Park Historic District Survey, the Brick Streets Survey, and the Fifth Ward North Historic District.

The records of the DeKalb County Home Economists date from January 1983 to June 1999 and contains bylaws, membership lists, meeting minutes and organization mailings.
E.C.Schweitzer Company Records (Leland)
The records of the E.C. Schweitzer business consist primarily of day books and account ledgers. The day books date from 1907 to 1938, and the accounts books range from 1887 to 1912, with some gaps in between. Also included are bills and a single correspondence. Of special interest is a paper sign for E. Erickson’s Sons Company. There is also a bill from E. Erickson’s and Son dated 1911 in this collection.
