The Bearskin Rug [story development notes], Dec 3, 2004 - Aug 27, 2006, no date

The Jennifer Stevenson papers contain printed and handwritten (paper-based) materials that are split into series based upon format.  Series I consists of manuscript critiques, a questionnarie by Del Ray Books, and a synopsis of her novel, The Hinky Bearskin Rug.  Series II contains notes pertaining to story development, chapter summaries, background research, newspaper clippings, index cards, and collages created to help in the writing process... of her novels.  Series III is Digital Media and it currently houses a USB drive with files containing transcripts of conversations with Stevenson's editor and manager, revision and copyediting letters, process notes, images, and research. The author's electronic hardcopy files will be kept on the department's main computer drive in the author's SFWA finding aid folder (titled under their name and identification number).
