The Richard Chwedyk Papers consists of printed (paper-based) manuscripts (edited and unedited) and revision notes (some handwritten), a good amount of correspondence associated to those materials, and miscellaneous materials relating to his writing career and conventions. The collection is divided into series based upon format. Series I consists of novels; Series II includes novelettes; Series III contains short stories; Series IV consists of Poems; Series V contains essays/speeches/critiqued manuscripts; Series VI is correspondence, and Series VII is miscellaneous materials related to his work. The majority of materials are organized within their series based upon original date of publication.
