Scope and Contents

The Sycamore-DeKalb Panhellenic records date from 1990 to 2003. They consist of member made scrapbooks which document Panhellenic events, activities and accomplishments. The scrapbooks contain memorabilia, newsletters, announcements, photographs, news clippings and programs. Included within the scrapbooks are annual announcement booklets which provide member and office lists, the constitution and bylaws, and featured programs.

Scope and Contents The records of the Thursday Arts Club date from its formation in 1925 to 2000. The collection includes two histories, constitutions and by-laws, meeting minutes, yearbooks, correspondence and newspaper clippings. The records include a full set of meeting minutes dating from 1925 to 1989. Also contained in the meeting minute books are the by-laws and constitutions, including any revisions to the same. Scope and Contents The Veterans of World War I Records date from 1953-1987 and document the activities of the Greater Rockford Barracks No. 48 and the Ladies Auxiliary. Each series contains constitutions and by-laws, correspondence, minutes, financial reports, membership lists, bulletins or general orders, annual convention material, and other documentation of the activities of the organizations. Scope and Contents A small collection, the Woodstock Business and Professional Women’s Club Records have limited research value.  The by-laws, minutes, correspondence, and annual reports are incomplete, covering only a few years between 1948 and 1979.  There are no records for the early years of the organization’s history.  Nevertheless, the newsletters, scrapbooks, and newspaper clippings reveal the nature of the programs and projects undertaken by the club since 1934.  The remaining materials contain a small...
