Scope and Contents

The records for the Gen-E-Dek Club date from 1949 to 1992. The majority of the collection consists of treasurer's books which contain meeting minutes, treasurer's reports, correspondence, paid receipts, bank statements with cancelled checks, 250 raffle winning tickets and profits, and activity flyers. The treasurer's books along with the scrapbooks comprise a fairly comprehensive history of the club's activities.

Scope and Contents

A descriptive book of members (1887-1918), journal of financial accounts (1892-1923), and a cash statement book (1900-1914) partially document the history of the Merritt Simonds Post of the Grand Army of the Republic.  Records from the Malta G.A.R. the Soldiers Memorial Association, and the Women’s Relief Corps complete the collection.  The historical information in Box 1 details the organization of the national G.A.R. and affiliated groups such as the Daughters and Sons of Veterans.

Scope and Contents The P.E.O. Sisterhood, Chapter DX records date from the founding of the organization in 1933 through 2019. The records include a complete set of meeting minutes from April 1, 1933 through March 1, 1982. The four scrapbooks include newspaper articles, yearbooks, photographs, and programs for the chapter. Scope and Contents The Stage Coach Players Records, dating from 1953-2000, document the group's activities through minutes, treasurer's reports, correspondence, and programs. The minutes date from 1959-1981 and include general, membership, special, and board meetings. The nearly complete set of programs date from 1960-2000 and give information about the casts and productions during these years. The collection includes two histories, constitutions and by-laws, meeting minutes, yearbooks, correspondence and newspaper clippings.
