The DeKalb Taylor Municipal Airport Advisory Board collection consists of board meeting notes, official minutes, agendas, financial records, airport expansion impact studies, official memorandums from various city offices, airplane hanger expansion efforts, DeKalb Taylor Municipal Airport and general aviation newspaper articles all documenting the changes to the Airport from the late 1970s until 2010.

Scope and Contents The records in this collection document the activities of the Joliet Region Chamber of Commerce and Industry from 1917 to 1979. The collection is arranged in two series. Series I consists of bound volumes containing the records of the Chamber’s board of directors including agendas, minutes of meetings, special reports, and correspondence for the years 1917-1977. Scope and Contents The material in this collection came from the background and informational files of two directors of the Kane County Development Department, Thornton “Tony” Ware and Frank Olson. In general, the material covers the years between 1960 and 1980. However, some of the files date as far back as 1957 and the creation of the department.
