Scope and Contents

This collection consists of typescript drafts and page proofs of series guides for Doctor Who and Angel. These were shared with the Thomases by Lars Pearson founder of the Mad Norwegian Press and a professional acquaintance. Series II is devoted to convention materials and ephemera collected by the Thomases during their habitual attendance at science fiction conventions. Some of these materials contain handwritten notes.

Abstract

Collection of stereographs of exposition grounds, memorabilia, and other ephemera from the World’s Columbian Exposition of 1893. It includes artifacts representative of the popular attractions at the fair and the souvenirs made available for the public. Also included is a scrapbook containing newspaper clippings and other printed ephemera in both English and German pertaining to the exposition. The original provenance of artifacts is unknown.
