Scope and Contents The DeKalb Area Garden Club Records date from 1983 to 1999. These records consist of the club’s constitution and by-laws, agenda, membership lists, treasurer’s reports, a complete set of newsletters, newspaper clippings, as well as open house and annual flower show information. Scope and Contents

The records for the Library Whist Club date from 1898 to 2006 and include membership lists, minute books, correspondence, and whist game rules.  The minute books date from January 26, 1903 through November 3, 1930.  The early minutes are not included in the collection.  A history of the club can be gleaned from the constitution, minutes, and newspaper articles while the rules of the game can be found in the publications.

Series I, Organization Records, consists the original Articles of Incorporation, by-laws and resolutions, and meeting minutes from 1988 to present.  The meeting minutes before 1988 have been lost.  Series II, Trip Reports, date from 1975 to 1998 and contain the reports written by the leader of each trips and a lists of participants.  The Addendum to the collection contains newsletters dating from 1971 to the present.
