The first issue of the Rockford Magazine was published in June 1986. The magazine covered a wide variety of topics including social and community issues, business community issues, and entertainment options for not only Rockford but Chicago, Madison, and Milwaukee. The magazine was published on a monthly basis through January 1996 then became a quarterly publication for one year. The last issue of the magazine published was Winter 1996.
