Maple Grove Grange No.1746 Collection (Winnebago County)
Scope and Contents
The Maple Grove Grange Collection dates from 1872 to 1982 with the majority of the collection consisting of meeting minutes. The remainder of the collection includes a rollbook, manuals and songbooks, a group photograph of the grange, and a constitution and by-laws for the Winnebago County Grange.

Biographical or Historical Information
The Maple Grove Grange organized on February 14, 1907. The grange met in members' homes and then in Elmwood School. The organization remained active until December 6, 1963 when the members voted to turn their charter back to the State Grange. After the outstanding bills were paid, the balance of the money in the treasury was divide equally among the members to give to their favorite charity.
