Scope and Contents
The Sean M. Murphy papers are printed and handwritten (paper-based) materials that contain manuscripts, notes, critiques, and poetry. The papers are divided into series based upon format. Series I consists of Novels, Series II contains Short Fiction & Poetry, Series III is Digital Media, and Series IV is for Oversized materials. The oversized materials can be found in SPO Manuscripts in the Rare Books Department.

Biographical or Historical Information
Sean M. Murphy is currently a photographer with a passion for capturing life's moments through a lens. Photography runs in the Murphy family and his grandmother had the nickname of Mrs. Click because she was never without her camera. A former member of the Wyrdsmtihs writer's group, Murphy has written novels, short fiction, and poetry. He is also the brother-in-law of another author, Kelly McCullough. Sean currently lives in St. Paul, Minnesota.
