Scope and Contents

The Cat Rambo papers includes the author's early work—both published and unpublished. Series I contains early typescripts for their novels and short fiction, as well as copies of typescripts written by other authors collected by Rambo during their participation in writers' workshops. Researchers will find published and published material in this series as well as the earliest drafts of novels in the Tabat Quartet universe. Rambo was heavily influenced by the role-playing game Armageddon MUD when conceiving the Tabat series.

Series II includes self-published works that collate Rambo's writings during the year of publication. These items were destributed to close friends and family during Christmas. Series III contain documents pertaining to Rambo's authorial career, including correspondence, contracts, and ephemera from public appearances. A highlight of this series is the handwritten notes and drafts written throughout Rambo's early writting career. These notes are a glimpse into the developing stages of Rambo's fiction writing.
