Biographical or Historical Information

Greg Van Eekhout was born and raised in Los Angeles, California and began writing simple stories about his favorite comic/tv characters when he was a kid.  He received his Bachelor's degree from UCLA and his Master's in Educational Media from Arizona State.  He has had a lot jobs besides writing, such as an ice cream scooper, political fundraiser, multimedia developer, and college teacher.  His first published story (2001) was Wolves Till the World Goes Down and his first published novel was in 2009 and was titled Norse Code.  One of his stories, In the Late December, was nominated for a Nebula Award in the Best Short Story category.  He has continued to publish novels with much success and he currently lives in San Diego, California.
