Scope and Contents

The Kristine Smith Papers consists of printed (paper-based) manuscripts, along with a letter of correspondence associated to those materials. The collection is divided into series based upon format. Series I consists of novels and Series II is a correspondence.  The majority of the materials are edited manuscripts and edited proofs for her book 'Endgame'.

Property Rights are transferred to the University Libraries per the signed Deed of Gift Document. Literary Rights are retained by the content creator.  Any copyrights so stated in the materials remain in force.

Biographical or Historical Information

Kristine Smith was born in Buffalo, NY and grew up in Florida.  She received a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of South Florida. While in college Kristine took art classes with an emphasis in drawing.  She spent most of her career in manufacturing (R&D), with a brief stint in retail clothing. Currently works for a pharmaceutical company.  She enjoys reading, gardening, writing, and cooking when she’s not working.
