Scope and Contents

The Jody Lynn Nye papers consists of printed (paper-based) copy edited manuscripts for novels, a rough draft, and Ms. Nye's copy of Anne McCaffrey's Dragonsdawn manuscript, along with correspondence associated with these materials. The collection is divided into series based upon format. Series I consists of novels and series II consists of correspondences. Series III contains miscellaneous papers. Within each section, organization is based on original date of work.

Property Rights are transferred to the University Libraries per the signed Deed of Gift Document. Literary Rights are retained by the content creator. Any copyrights so stated in the materials remain in force.

Biographical or Historical Information

Ms. Nye was born in Chicago Illinois in 1957. She began her professional career in the early 80’s when she was published in Video Action for technical articles regarding broadcasting. As of July 2010 she has published 39 books and over 100 short stories. She is also a cat lover and blogs about them on her website.
