The Holmes Student Center was built in 1961 and occupied in 1962. First called the University Center, it was renamed for University President Leslie A. Holmes in 1974. The Center contains cafeterias, study rooms, and lounges. It also sponsored activities for students such as art exhibits, madrigal dinners, and movie showings. This collection contains documents on the Center and its administration; activities of the Center’s Boards; and games sponsored by the Association of College Unions, International Relations Committee. Most of the records found here date from the 1960’s to early 1980’s.
