The first Greek letter social sorority, formed in 1931, was Sigma Chi Sigma which later joined the national Sigma Sigma Sigma organization. Since then over thirty-five national and local sororities have been established at the university. This collection contains documents from individual sororities which include histories, constitutions, and correspondence. Also found here are documents from the Panhellenic Council which include materials on rush, housing, and Greek activities. The majority of records date between 1950 and 1972
