The university created a Development Office in 1965 to oversee fundraising from corporate and community sources.  In addition, it coordinated the activities of parents’ clubs and the Huskie Club.  An athletic booster organization which was organized in 1955, it was renamed the Huskie Club in 1968.  The Vice-President for Development and External Affairs Office title dates to 1986.  This collection contain three series, the first is comprised of the Development Office’s newsletter and records from the organizations it coordinates. A second series documents the Corporate Relations Office and the third, the Vice President for Development and University Relations Office records.
