RHC/UA/06. Office of Institutional Research

The Bureau of University Research was created in 1957 to research and write reports for the university's use in planning and development. The Bureau became the Analytical Studies Office in 1973, and the Office of Institutional Research in 1983. This collection contains studies and reports prepared by those offices. The material is organized into eleven subject areas used by the offices in creating the documents. The documents offer extensive demographic data on Northern's students and, to a lesser degree, its faculty. Aggregate statistical reports [Data Books] issued by the office are added regularly.
