Scope and Contents
The Elizabeth Bear Papers consist of printed (paper-based) and handwritten manuscripts for poems, short stories, and novels, along with a small amount of correspondence related to those materials. In addition, the collection contains a limited number of items, such as handmade books, school publications, from the author’s childhood, and a variety of hand drawn maps. The collection is divided based upon format and consists of novels and short stories. The majority of materials are organized within their series based upon original date of publication.
