From the Collection:
This collection consists of two volumes of Descriptive Books for Company A, 3rd Regiment of the Illinois National Guard, dating from 1898-1916. These books include the name, age, description, birth place, occupation, enlistment information, and term of the soldier. The two volumes also contains a remarks column that lists discharge information. Indexes to these two volumes are located in the Inventory folder. Rosters and roll calls for Company A, from 1906 to 1913 are found in the five small volumes.
