Scope and Contents
Help-One-Another Circle was established on March 12, 1919 in Harlem Township (Illinois). The club aimed to help the church and perform charity work. Help-One-Another Circle was established for these purposes as stated in the minutes from 1919: “1st. Its purpose to assist our hostess at our regular meetings with any work she might have for use to do.; 2nd. To build up afund whereby we might do any charitable work the Circle might see fit to do.” An additional purpose was added during the adoption of the February 18, 1925 constitution, “To promote fellowship among the women of the neighborhood.” The Circle’s colors were pink and white.The club disbanded sometime after October 1959.
