Business Representatives Minutes, 1970-1979

The DuPage Building & Construction Trades Council records date from 1955 to 1984, though the bulk of the material covers the years 1968 to 1979.  A complete run of monthly Council meeting minutes (1966-1979) and of weekly Business Representatives meeting minutes (1970-1979) are in the collection.  The majority of the records are subject and correspondence files that deal with a variety of topics: politics and labor legislation, wage rates, jurisdiction disputes, pickets, and the AFL-CIO’s Building & Construction Trades Department.  There are no financial records in the collection.
