Scope and Contents The Review was an irregularly published literary magazine based first in Oxford then in London, England. Ian Hamilton was the editor, starting the magazine in 1962 and heading it until it ceased publication in 1972. Hamilton’s intention was to provide a showcase for contemporary poetry as well as reviews of collections of poetry, interviews with featured poets, and poetry criticism.
